Sian Williams is a qualified psychological therapist and counsellor (MBACP, MBPsS, MSc).
She has built up nearly five hundred hours of experience with families, couples, teens and individuals, helping them manage conditions like stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, psychosis, self-harm and suicidality.
Sian has worked for the NHS in the psychology department of a large London teaching hospital, supporting patients with acute cancer conditions and is an associate at King’s College, London where she helps students manage their mental health.
Currently in the final year of a Professional Doctorate of Counselling Psychology, Sian has published a book, ‘Rise: a first aid kit for getting through tough times’, and her research on positive growth and recovery has been peer-reviewed and published in academic journals.
She has delivered resilience talks and workshops to, among others, Amnesty International, the Environmental Investigations Agency, KPMG, March on Stress, King’s College, the BBC, ITV and ITN.
